They will also conduct sessions on the Role of a Producer, Departments of a News Channel, Writing TV News, News Room Scenario and Operations – Live PCR, Camera, and Editing and provide Technical Overview of a Modern Television News Room. MRIU has signed an MOU with Edinburgh Napier University (ENU) UK for offering MBA Dual Degree Program under which ENU faculty shall deliver 3 modules namely Building High Performing Organisations, Marketing within the Global Economy, Management and Organisational Change. On the successful completion of the programme, students will be awarded MRIU as well as ENU degree separately.

Such students after successful completion of the program at Finland shall get Finnish B.Tech Degree and become eligible for work permit in Finland.

Tsukuba University, Japan, established in 1973 as Tokyo University of Education in the Tsukuba area has partnered with MRIU for student and faculty exchange and research and development programs. In July 2012, 4 Faculty members from MRIU were awarded scholarships by Tsukuba University to attend Tsukuba Summer Institute for Health and Sports Education pedagogy. In December 2012, MRIU and Tsukuba jointly organized Indo-Japanese Conclave on Health and Sports Sciences in which 6 academic experts from Tsukuba delivered lectures on Recent Trends in Health and Sport Sciences along with Indian Academic Experts drawn from the entire country benefitting about 150 delegates consisting of students and teachers. In July 2013, 2 faculty members and 3 students were awarded scholarships by Tsukuba University to attend Tsukuba Summer Institute for Lab work in Health and Sports Sciences.

Other common areas of interest identified are in the field of research and it includes rehabilitation, nutrition and health.
TEESSIDE UNIVERSITY founded on a rich past of 80 years education, Teesside University has been the first modern University to have won Times Higher Award for University of the Year 2009. Times Higher Education survey rated Teesside University as the best new University for student experience. It has also been the winner of the Entrepreneurial University of the Year Award by Times Higher Education in 2010. An agreement exists between MRIU and Teesside University, UK for dual degree program, research collaboration and student and faculty exchange programs. Both Universities have agreed to conduct seminars and symposiums in field of research in Health and Sports.

USM and MRIU have signed an agreement for student and faculty exchange and joint R&D programmes. In 2011, 4 faculty members from USM conducted workshop on Research and Development benefitting students and faculty of MRIU and exploring the possibility for joint R&D Project. USM participated in Trilog 2013 jointly conducted by MRIU,Tsukuba Japan and UPSI Malaysia at Malaysia having more than 200 delegates.

Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris or Sultan Idris University of Education (UPSI) is a Public Institution of Higher Education (IPTA) which plays an important part in the history of Malaysian education. UPSI and MRIU are doing joint research projects and faculty and student exchange. UPSIM and MRIU have successfully completed a research project on ‘Teaching Games for Understanding (TGFU) on Junior Indian Hockey Players’ resulting in 3 research papers in International Journals. Prof. Sanmuganatahan, Associate Professor in Sports Pedagogy from UPSIM stayed in MRIU for 4 months as visiting Faculty and conducted research. Dr G.L. Khanna-Dean FAS is recognized as Visiting Professor at UPSI.
University of Sinaloa, Mexico is an Autonomous University with which MREI has entered into a General Academic Collaboration Agreement. The aim is to establish mutual co-operation between the two institutions, especially to develop academic and cultural exchange through mutual assistance in the areas of education and research subject to certain criteria. Exchange of undergraduate and graduate students, Faculty and staff members may also be a possibility subject to mutual understanding. That apart, joint research, special short term academic programs and projects are also on the anvil.
