Manav Rachna International University conferred award for ‘University with BestPlacements in India’ by ASSOCHAM.

Times of India ranked Faculty of Management Studies, Manav Rachna International University among the top 50 Business School in India and amongst top 15 in North India in 2015.

Manav Rachna College of Engineering (now MRU) has been ranked among the Top 30 Engineering institutes across the country (closely behind all the IITs, NITs and BIT) by the Times of India (June 16, 2015). Bhalla Foundation, a trust with philanthropy as its sole objective under the banner of Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI), has been carrying forward the philanthropic vision and rich legacy of Dr. O.P. Bhalla through a series of CSR activities. Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad, which is a Deemed University under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956, has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘A’ Grade. This distinction places the University in the premier league of the top-rated universities of the country.

  • International conferences, seminars and workshops are an integral part of the grooming culture at MREI. 
  • In the year 2015, Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad and Asian Council of Exercise and Sports Science (ACESS) organised the 7thAsia Pacific Conference on Exercise and Sports Science 2015 (APCESS 2015). Being organized for the 1st time in India, the conference was supported by the Sports Authority of India. As many as 900 delegates from 41 countries deliberated on the theme ‘Inter-disciplinary Applied Approach to Health and Performance Enhancement through Sports Science’. 
  • The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Manav Rachna International University organized “International Conference on Soft Computing Techniques and Implementations (ICSCTI-2015)” in October 2015 technically supported by IEEE and academically supported by Centre for Soft Computing ISI Kolkata and Soft Computing Research Society. Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering is organizing an International Conference on Soft Computing Techniques and Implementations technically sponsored by IEEE from 8th to 10th October 2015.

Faculty of Applied Sciences is organizing the 7th Asia Pacific Conference on Exercise and Sports Science 2015 (APCESS 2015), the bi-annual conference of the Asian Council of Exercise and Sports Science (ACESS) from October 14th to 16th, 2015. The conference theme “Interdisciplinary Applied Approach to Health and Performance Enhancement through Sports Science” is indeed apposite theme as the sports competitions in this modern era are more scientific than conventional.

Renowned speakers from more than 30 countries / regions have confirmed their participation and will deliberate over various issues of Sports Science & technology and physical education. The interactions would mostly cover recent approaches in Sports development through sports sciences, Health and yoga, Emerging trends in latest technology in sports, Biomechanics, Sports Philosophy, Sports Pedagogy, Sports Marketing, Sports Nutrition, Sports Physiotherapy, Ergonomics and Prosthetics Adapted Physical Education, Dope control, Indian Culture to physical Activity and Sports. Approximately 20 young research scholars from a number of countries like China , Croatia , Czech Republic , Germany , Malaysia, Serbia , Singapore , South Korea , Thailand , Turkey , Zimbabwe have already given their nominations to be associated with APCESS as Future Leaders. MRIU WOWS AT INDIA INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR (IITF) 2015

MRIU is a regular partner of the Government of Haryana in IITF held at Pragati Maidan every year and displays the best practices in educational institutions which include the award winning student projects. Sh. Kaptan Singh Solanki, Hon’ble Governor of Haryana and Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana highly appreciated Manav Rachna’s projects on display at IITF 2015 and said that such projects and innovations fulfill a huge need- they are indeed what is needed and desired in today’s world”.

MRIU shines at India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2013 & 2014

MRIU is a regular partner of the Govternment of Haryana in IITF held at Pragati Maidan every year and displays the best practices in educational institutions which include the award winning student projects.

In Nov 2013, MRIU students displayed Tractrobot, Smart Blind Stick,Pick and Place Robot, Pills Box, Smart Skull (Helmet), Smart Dustbin, iitfDriver Fitness Tester, All Terrain Bike ATV2, All Terrain Car ATV1 and Smart Efficycle (Battery Driven Self Charging Rickshaw) all of which were highly appreciated by His Excellency Governor of Haryana and Chief Minister Haryana along with a galaxy of other high profile visitors while visiting the Haryana Pavilion at IITF 2013. Projects in the area of robotics and aeronautics were also the centre of attraction.

MRIU once again made its mark when students of Manav Rachna Innovation & Incubation Centre (MRIIC) showcased 24 unique projects at the Haryana Pavilion of IITF 2014. The theme of IITF 2014, “Women Entrepreneurs”, figured prominently in the display. The Sensor Piano (a piano that can be played from a distance by gesture of fingers); Waiter Robot (a robotic waiter); Smart Skull; Electro Seat (a comfortable cushioned seat that enables you to carry electric power wherever you go); Hand Gesture Controlled Mouse; Saviour Suit (that protects women in distress) and Mushroom Cultivation were the main attractions at the pavilion. Intrigued by the projects developed by the young innovative minds, His Excellency Hon’ble Governor of Haryana Shri Kaptan Singh Solanki put on the Smart Skull to understand its functionality. While visiting the Manav Rachna display at the Haryana Pavilion,Captain Abhimanyu, Minister of Finance, Government of Haryana Government of Haryana also expressed his appreciation of the creativity of the students.

MREI has been extensively working towards cooperation and collaboration in Skill Development

The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Ministry of Skill development and Entrepreneurship signed total of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Algonquin Community College in areas of collaboration for skill development during the visit of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi to Canada in April 2015. MREI was the Indian partner for Algonquin in this initiative. Taking this forward, the Government of Haryana (GoH) has set up State Level Skill Development Missions to provide inter-sectoral coordination at State level. In view of the larger MoU with NSDC, a MoU was also signed between the Govt. of Haryana and Algonquin College to explore many more areas of cooperation and collaboration in the automobile and construction sectors. Manav Rachna Educational Institutions hold a prominent position in carrying forward this MoU. Under this agreement, MREI is setting up a training Centre of Excellence in the automotive and construction sectors at its campus in Faridabad.

MREI also signed a MoU with the Indian Plumbing Skills Council (IPSC) to develop skilled manpower in the plumbing sector. A MoU was signed between Manav Rachna Skill Development Centre and Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) to offer skill development training program for employment in Automotive Sector.

JBM issues letter of intent to all the candidates of B. Tech.-Mech Engg. (Industry Integrated) program at the time of admission to offer suitable position in JBM Group / Consortium. NIIT/IFBI issues letter of intent to BBA-Banking students after declaration of result of 3rd Semester exam for job in selected Private Banks (subject to maintenance of academic benchmarks and performance in interview after completion of the degree).
